Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Outreach Orthopedic Clinic, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and needs.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and physician recommendations, adhering to best practices in patient care.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care strategies as necessary to optimize results.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment for our patients and their families.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and preventative care to enhance recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have experience treating a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, neurologic conditions, and sports medicine concerns. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, providing tailored rehabilitation services that focus on restoring function and promoting independence. Your role is vital in helping these patients navigate their recovery journeys, empowering them to achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Active and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedics.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in computer and word processing skills for accurate documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
