Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, and overall function, facilitating targeted intervention strategies.
• Providing therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to help patients recover their functionality.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment processes, and the importance of active participation in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy License in good standing for the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety in patient care.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate potential travel needs related to professional responsibilities.
• Demonstrable commitment to clinical excellence, adhering to the highest standards of quality and integrity.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred, it is not mandatory.
