Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individualized therapy sessions utilizing established therapeutic frameworks and innovative approaches tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

• Conduct engaging group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for shared experiences and collective growth while addressing specific therapeutic goals.

• Monitor and assess client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers.

• Complete comprehensive intake assessments to inform tailored treatment strategies, establishing clear therapeutic goals with clients from the outset.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring seamless transitions in care and ongoing support during recovery.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in understanding behavioral challenges, fostering a family-involved approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The target client population includes individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds in Hialeah, Florida, requiring culturally competent and sensitive approaches. As a counselor, you will be instrumental in helping clients achieve emotional stability and resilience, empowering them to overcome barriers to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or similar is preferred.

• Must possess a valid LMHC license in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Freedom Psychotherapy Services offers an attractive compensation package, with an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 101,000, depending on experience and productivity. In addition, our benefits include:
