Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop customized treatment plans based on clients' unique mental health needs.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Facilitate open communication with clients regarding their mental health goals and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s level degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice therapy in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, etc.).

• At least two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services to adults.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting intake assessments, diagnosing, and developing effective treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and writing skills for effective documentation and client interaction.

• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against you by any licensing board.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in school-based mental health services is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, ongoing training in evidence-based therapies such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) or solution-focused therapy will be valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
