This role offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to effectively balance professional commitments with personal life. Our outpatient practice model means that you will primarily engage with clients on an individual basis via teletherapy sessions, using state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ongoing communication and collaboration with fellow mental health professionals will enhance your practice, enabling a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-up evaluations to assess clients' mental and emotional health.

• Create personalized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based treatment methods, focusing on each client’s specific needs and challenges.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.

• Provide referrals and connect clients with additional health care providers, including psychiatrists and social services, to ensure holistic treatment.

• Document client progress accurately in EHR systems, maintaining professionalism and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing varying degrees of mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. A strong cultural competence is essential, as you will be working with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring treatment approaches are respectful and effective in meeting their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid state license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, culturally responsive treatment practices, and evidence-based therapies.

• Demonstrated experience in individual and group therapy settings, employing inclusive methodologies.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging client/therapeutic situations with composure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong therapeutic alliances with a range of clients.

• Proficient use of EHR systems and solid computer skills for effective documentation and communication.

• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of four years of related experience is required, we prefer candidates who have extensive work in substance abuse counseling, trauma-informed care, or in-depth group therapy facilitation. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and best practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
