Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including preliminary interviews, to create detailed case documentation from initial consultations to treatment completion.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches to promote client engagement and healing.

You will be serving a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various emotional disturbances. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families dealing with complex mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems like AVATAR, ensuring seamless documentation and client management.

• Knowledge and experience in treating co-occurring disorders and the impact of drug therapies prescribed by medical professionals.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Empathy and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with clients who are experiencing challenging and vulnerable situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor or in a similar role, demonstrating a solid track record in client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
