Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional orthopedic physical therapy services, conducting thorough assessments to evaluate patient conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to align with each patient's specific goals, challenges, and medical histories.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and data to modify treatment strategies accordingly, ensuring optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cutting-edge therapy techniques, such as therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy, to enhance recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment initiatives in accordance with facility policies, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families on injury prevention, exercise regimens, and self-management techniques.
• Actively participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss cases and refine approaches to patient care as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. The physical therapist will work with patients across all age groups, from children to older adults, adapting treatment plans and approaches based on developmental and age-related considerations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment skills, and evidence-based practice knowledge.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a demonstrated capacity for patient assessment and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
