Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include:

• Facilitating and leading consumer support groups to foster community and shared experiences among clients.
\n
• Participating actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s collective knowledge.
\n
• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients, their family members, and relevant stakeholders to create comprehensive and inclusive care plans.
\n
• Assisting with clients’ social service needs as guided by the clinical team, while establishing and maintaining relationships with local agencies and organizations as an advocate for our clients.

• Collaborating with interns, volunteers, and fellow staff members in planning and promoting activities that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each consumer.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mental health challenges, with a particular emphasis on perinatal mental health. This includes supporting new and expectant parents, who may be struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, or other related issues. By addressing these concerns, you play a critical role in fostering healthier families and communities.

Qualifications\n

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) .

• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• Prior experience working with perinatal mental health issues and understanding the unique challenges faced by this client population.

• Experience in a telehealth environment or providing remote counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
