Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs and challenges faced by individual children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of developmental psychology, family dynamics, and therapeutic best practices.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers with strategies to provide emotional support and constructive environments for their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's mental health care.

• Respond to emergency situations with crisis intervention protocols, offering immediate support during mental health crises involving young clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to promote informed participation in their care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure in New York State as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is essential.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensure is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
