Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy interventions based on comprehensive evaluations to effectively prevent disability and alleviate pain, aligning with prescribed treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure the accurate delivery of therapy protocols, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilizing diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, joint, and functional capabilities. Utilize the findings to develop targeted treatment strategies.
• Optimize the therapy experience by assessing and recommending modifications to the home or facility environment to promote patient independence and ensure safe mobility.
• Administer specialized manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities tailored to patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Evaluate, fit, and advise on the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians for necessary adaptations and improvements.
• Document clinical records meticulously, preparing initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries and ensure compliance with OASIS documentation standards.
• Participate actively in team case conferences to review patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and self-management techniques to promote engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all team members, contributing to a supportive, patient-focused work culture.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation related to clinical services, adhering to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally within rehabilitation or home care settings.
• A current, valid Physical Therapy license in California, with a strong standing in compliance with state regulations.
• Current CPR certification and possession of a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
