Work Environment\n

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to engage in our virtual treatment model, allowing important access to care for our clients across various distances. Working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of some evening shifts depending on patient needs, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share a common goal: to provide holistic, patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and treatment goals, utilizing standardized tools and individualized interviews.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic methods, ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health care.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that include motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, aimed at helping patients establish healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate a comprehensive and cohesive treatment approach.

• Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available local resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly focuses on adults struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom may also be managing co-occurring mental health challenges. You will play a critical role in guiding these individuals through their recovery journey, applying therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique experiences and challenges. Your approach should remain empathetic and client-centered, addressing the multifaceted needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• A robust understanding of substance use disorders, as well as a mastery of both evidence-based treatment modalities and recovery-oriented care principles.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment is highly desirable.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to patient interactions.

• Capable of upholding professional boundaries while adhering strictly to ethical guidelines.

• Comfort and proficiency when using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for patient documentation and scheduling purposes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 115,000 and 130,000, reflecting your experience and expertise. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
