Key Responsibilities\n

• Diagnosis: Apply diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5 to accurately diagnose clients, which will guide treatment planning and interventions.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their personal goals, preferences, and needs.

• Psychotherapy: Provide effective psychotherapy using established modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to the client’s specific issues.

• Medication Management Collaboration: Work in conjunction with our supervising psychiatrist to coordinate client care, offering insights on medication effectiveness and adherence as necessary.

• Crisis Intervention: Deliver immediate support and crisis intervention for clients in acute distress to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure meticulous clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders, with an ability to implement effective treatment strategies.
