Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health needs.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions with clients while also offering family, marriage, or group counseling sessions based on your area of expertise.

• Administering mental health screenings and evaluating clients’ progress to modify treatment strategies as needed.
\n
• Documenting sessions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other administrative duties to comply with organizational guidelines.

• Engaging in continuous professional development by attending team meetings, case consultations, and training workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals facing mental and behavioral health challenges, co-occurring disorders, and those in need of substance abuse treatment. Your expertise will extend to working with children, adolescents, couples, and families, fostering healing and providing support in a non-judgmental environment. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field.

• Active licensure in one of the following: Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Social Work (LICSW).

• Comprehensive understanding of the principles, practices, techniques, and trends in individual and family counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
