Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating their feedback and progress into ongoing strategies.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish rapport to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

• Document sessions and maintain confidential client records in line with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Engage with family members to enhance the support system for clients, offering resources and guidance for effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with other professionals within the clinic to address the multifaceted needs of clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive care.

• Actively participate in ongoing clinical supervision and peer consultations to further develop your therapeutic skills and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adolescents aged 12 to 18, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Working with this population requires sensitivity, patience, and innovative counseling methods tailored to the unique needs of youth. You will also engage with families, offering support and education to help them better understand and support their children’s mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
\n
• Additional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) may be advantageous.

• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a preference for five (5) years.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
\n
• Proficiency in technology, specifically in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with youth populations and understanding of common adolescent developmental challenges.

• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and platforms used for conducting virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
