Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate trauma-informed assessments to meticulously evaluate patients’ histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans concentrated on recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processes of healing, trauma processing, and coping skills development.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively integrated and monitored.

• Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, offering reassurance and guidance to those experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, adaptive coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal standards and ethical practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development initiatives and participate in case consultations and team meetings centered on implementing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life experiences. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing all age groups and backgrounds, which necessitates cultural competence and sensitivity in treatment approaches. Your role will support the mental health and overall well-being of clients as they strive to process their experiences and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
