Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver vital counseling services from the comfort of your own home. The anticipated work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient demand. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and treatment goals of each individual seeking support for substance use disorders.

• Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to promote positive behavioral change.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals struggling with various forms of substance use disorders. You will play a critical role in their recovery process, guiding them through challenges and celebrating their successes as they work towards lifelong sobriety.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois is essential for this role.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in a substance abuse treatment context is necessary.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills, exhibiting empathy and non-judgmental engagement with clients.

• Ability to navigate the complexities of ethics in mental health, maintaining professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related digital tools.
