Impact Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. In this full-time, onsite role located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, you will serve as a vital partner in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, providing expert care that fosters recovery and enhances functional mobility. Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted in the home care settings of our patients, allowing for personalized therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment. You will be part of a supportive team that values open communication and collaboration, with an emphasis on professional development and work-life balance. Our schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with a clear structure and ample personal time.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Impact Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities and mobility challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans that utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques aimed at achieving specific patient goals.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Motivating and guiding patients through their recovery process, ensuring they are engaged and feel empowered on their journey to regaining full function.
• Monitoring patient progress through regular evaluations and modifying treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to create a cohesive support system for each patient.
• Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding injury prevention and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including those who may have undergone orthopedic surgeries. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life. You will cater to diverse patient needs and adapt treatments to fit various personality types and medical backgrounds.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and create effective treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families, as well as collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Capacity to manage a diverse patient population with varying needs and personalities.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with experience specifically in home care settings, where adaptability and personalized care are essential. Familiarity with current physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
