Renewed Beginnings Counseling in El Paso, Texas, is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring you can engage deeply with clients through virtual consultations. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and diagnostic criteria.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, considering their unique developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, tailored to address specific mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, enhancing the overall mental health outcomes for young clients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of affected children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Your compassionate, child-centered approach will help build trust and rapport, essential for effective therapeutic engagement. You will also support families by guiding them through the mental health process, facilitating their understanding and involvement in treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapy techniques.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to young clients, showcasing a strong commitment to therapeutic relationships.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displaying empathy and understanding in interactions with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to maintaining comprehensive, accurate client records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
