This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with opportunities to engage in virtual consultations and therapy sessions. In addition to remote work, the candidate may occasionally participate in meetings at our El Paso outpatient office, making it easy to integrate teamwork into their schedule. Our typical work week spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and identify the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, psychosocial factors, and family dynamics.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based individual and family therapy to help young patients overcome various mental health challenges.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the necessary strategies to foster a supportive and understanding home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care that encompasses all aspects of patients' mental health.

• Utilize crisis intervention strategies effectively to support young individuals and families during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. By providing targeted interventions, you will play a pivotal role in helping these young individuals and their families navigate the complexities of mental health challenges, promoting overall well-being and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, understanding various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Experience delivering individual and family therapy specifically to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a commitment to providing compassionate, child-centered care.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to contribute effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
