Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on pain relief, enhancing musculoskeletal function, and preventing physical disabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of care plans by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using advanced diagnostic techniques, assessing their strength, mobility, and functionality.
• Assess the home environment for rehabilitation purposes, providing recommendations to promote patient independence and safety.
• Deliver hands-on therapy services including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and the application of physical agents to facilitate recovery.
• Evaluate and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices to align with patient-specific needs, working closely with referring physicians.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records such as initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams during care conferences, integrating feedback and insights from various medical professionals involved in the patient's treatment.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and the use of therapy devices, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence.
• Stay current with industry regulations and best practices by actively participating in ongoing professional development and training.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to meet the organization's goals and enhance service delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
