Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' backgrounds and current mental health status, establishing a strong foundation for individualized care.

• Design, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and resilience, constantly adapting strategies based on patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients process their trauma, develop coping skills, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure each client receives integrated and comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and real-time support during acute trauma-related events, demonstrating swift, competent action to safeguard client well-being.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and tools for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults who are grappling with the aftermath of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD and various trauma-related disorders. Understanding and empathizing with clients' unique experiences enable you to foster trust and guide them toward healing. Your role is paramount in providing tailored therapeutic support that respects each client’s journey through recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting with a focus on trauma therapy is required.
\n
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities, particularly trauma-informed approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
