Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to diagnose and evaluate client needs, developing tailored treatment plans to address identified issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including ongoing evaluations, treatment plan reviews, and case notes in compliance with clinic protocols.
• Manage a caseload of 25-30 clients per week, providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions through telehealth or in-person as needed.
• Deliver exceptional client service, fostering a supportive environment that respects autonomy and encourages therapeutic growth.
• Engage in creative intervention strategies tailored to individual client goals, empowering them to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with case managers, family members, medical personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT in our clinic, you will work with a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families. Your role will be vital in providing therapeutic support to those facing various challenges, including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and adjustment difficulties. You will play a crucial part in shaping client experiences and encouraging healing through culturally sensitive and individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated experience in mental health service delivery, treatment plan development, and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on effective client interaction.
• Capability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of clients and adapting to their unique circumstances and backgrounds.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and communities, including those facing systemic barriers to care.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation regulations and practices, including the development of DAs and comprehensive case notes.
• Prior experience providing therapy services in a remote or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
