Work Environment

This position is located in our outpatient facility in Red Bank, New Jersey, where you will engage directly with patients in a warm and welcoming environment. As a focus of our practice, we aim for a culture of flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours within a Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients who may be recovering from injuries, surgeries, or dealing with chronic conditions within the outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans using a mix of therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and assistive devices aimed at improving patients' mobility and functionality.
• Regularly document and track patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to provide cohesive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the use of assistive devices to foster independence and enhance recovery.
• Continuously pursue professional development opportunities to maintain best practices and expand your technical knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating a diverse patient population, from children to seniors, experiencing a wide range of physical conditions. This includes patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological disorders, and general deconditioning. Your focus will be on empowering patients through effective rehabilitation strategies that enhance their functional abilities and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer and documentation practices for efficient record-keeping.
• Strong adaptability and a commitment to lifelong learning within the field.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in an outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record keeping and practice management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
