This full-time position is fully remote, enabling you to provide therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or any location that is conducive to focused work. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through virtual interviews to accurately document clients' needs and goals.

• Assess and monitor clients' emotional and behavioral health, identifying their unique clinical symptoms and recovery requirements.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that may include individual therapy, group sessions, and family interventions tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that cater to various mental health issues.

• Continuously evaluate client progress against treatment objectives, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide ongoing support to caregivers and family members as they navigate the complexities of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of individuals, couples, and families grappling with a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to severe behavioral issues. Given the telehealth setting, you will reach clients from various backgrounds, including those in underserved areas of Woodbridge, New Jersey, who face barriers to accessing traditional therapeutic services. Your sensitivity and adaptability will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE and/or the NCMHCE examinations.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, with a strong focus on individual and group therapy.
\n
• Solid understanding of electronic health records (EHRs), specifically familiarity with tools such as AVATAR.
\n
• Experience in managing clients with dual diagnoses, including both mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Background in working with diverse populations, particularly with clients from different cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.

• Proficiency in integrating family systems theory into therapy sessions when working with couples and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
