As a licensed mental health counselor, you will utilize basic video conferencing technologies to conduct client sessions, providing high-quality therapeutic interventions from anywhere in the Walla Walla, Washington area.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health conditions and needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and track client progress using data-driven approaches.
\n
• Adjust therapeutic techniques to fit the unique circumstances of each client, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to treatment.

• Manage crisis situations with confidence and implement appropriate interventions to ensure client safety and well-being.
\n
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client progress using electronic medical records (EMR) and prioritize minimal paperwork for efficient workflow.

• Collaborate with other professionals and case managers to provide comprehensive care and follow-up for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Braver Perspective, LLC, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with various mental health disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, grief, and more. Your role is critical in supporting clients from different backgrounds and life experiences, ensuring they receive personalized and compassionate care to promote recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and valid Mental Health License in Washington State (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW).

• Proven experience working with a range of psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with various mental health diagnoses.

• Adept in utilizing telehealth technology and comfortable with remote communication tools.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to interruptions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

• No record of Medical Malpractice claims, verified by a credible third-party source.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
