Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Heal and Renew, your daily tasks will include:

• Consulting with patients to understand their physical condition and related symptoms, allowing for a tailored therapeutic approach.
• Assessing movement dysfunctions and devising comprehensive treatment plans that align with each patient's specific health goals.
• Instructing patients on therapeutic exercises and activities to promote recovery and enhance functional mobility.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, such as massages or other modalities, to stimulate healing and relieve pain.
• Assisting patients with the proper use of rehabilitative equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they feel safe and confident.
• Keeping meticulous records of patient progress, continually updating treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and achievements.
• Engaging with patients and their families to explore in-home treatment options and providing education regarding recovery exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Doctor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and word processing tools to document patient information accurately.
