Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans that aim to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility through evidence-based practices.
• Utilize advanced techniques in manual therapy and exercise prescription to minimize the need for surgical interventions or medications.
• Conduct detailed assessments and create comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, catering to the specific challenges and goals of each patient.
• Develop customized fitness and rehabilitation programs, continuously adapting them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document all sessions meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Encourage patient participation in their own recovery process through education, motivation, and support, aiming for maximized functional independence.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation and movement disorders, serving a diverse patient demographic that includes post-operative individuals, athletes recovering from injuries, and seniors seeking maintenance of mobility and functional independence. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring therapeutic interventions to address their unique histories and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Clean licensure with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions.
• At least 2 years of hands-on, clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Proficient in creating and conducting exercise regimens that are both effective and safe for diverse patient needs.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their application in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience is required, candidates with experience in orthopedic outpatient settings and familiarity with digital health record systems will be prioritized. Experience in leadership roles or assisting in training newly graduated therapists is also highly valued.
