This is an onsite role in our modern rehabilitation center in Falls Church, Virginia, designed to facilitate patient healing and comfort. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient objectives and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Manage a patient load effectively, ensuring that each patient receives focused and undivided attention during their one-on-one sessions.
• Implement cost-effective therapy techniques aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and range of motion, while minimizing the dependency on pain medication.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy and exercise program design, to address individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
• Document treatment procedures and patient communications accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and standard practices.
• Encourage patients consistently throughout their rehabilitative process, inspiring them to remain committed to their recovery journey.
• Participate actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary consultations, contributing insights on patient care dynamics and treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals with orthopedic injuries and conditions requiring rehabilitative care. Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Skillset: Must demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and be adept at designing and implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Technology Usage: Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT to manage patient data effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, showcasing a penchant for addressing mobility-related challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
