Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations involving detailed assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, collaborative discussions with patients and their families, and established best practices.
• Implement and demonstrate proficiency in delivery of specified therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches as necessary to accommodate patients' diverse needs.
• Engage in regular consultation with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, address changes in patients' conditions, and refine treatment strategies.
• Maintain timely and precise documentation of treatment activities, ensuring a clear narrative of each patient's therapy journey, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Prioritize effective time management to satisfy productivity goals while maintaining a patient-first mindset.
• Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives, contributing to the development of facility goals and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Pursue professional development through continuing education and certification opportunities, reinforcing your skills and enhancing departmental competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with through our outpatient clinic present a variety of conditions, including orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management needs. Our team is dedicated to creating tailored rehabilitation programs to promote optimal patient outcomes. You will engage with patients across different age groups, emphasizing personalized care to facilitate their recovery and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license for physical therapy practice in Virginia is necessary for your role.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• No prior work experience is necessary, making this an ideal position for new graduates looking to begin their careers in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with outpatient therapy practices or internships during your educational training will be viewed favorably.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation practices in physical therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
