Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Clinical Physical Therapist to enrich our home care service team in Reston, Virginia. Work Environment

This position will require you to work onsite and directly engage with patients in their homes, offering personalized care tailored to each individual's unique circumstances. We operate Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Our collaborative team, composed of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), fosters a supportive environment aimed at achieving outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify the goals and needs of each patient, ensuring a customized treatment plan based on their specific conditions.
• Maintain a steady patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality, one-on-one time with each patient.
• Implement effective, evidence-based therapies to improve range of motion and overall mobility.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that may incorporate innovative techniques and therapies tailored to the individual's health goals.
• Formulate and lead customized fitness and wellness programs that engage patients and encourage ongoing physical activity.
• Encourage patient participation throughout the recovery process, offering motivation and support to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Continually monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and communicate changes to the patient and team members.
• Accurately document all services rendered to meet compliance and high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient caseload will primarily consist of individuals engaged in outpatient orthopedic care. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with clients experiencing various physical challenges, allowing you to utilize your expertise in orthopedics, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques. Your interventions will play a pivotal role in helping each client regain their independence and enhance their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy skills with the ability to apply specialized techniques effectively.
• Established competency in designing and implementing diverse exercise programs specific to individual needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT to streamline documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient orthopedic therapy settings is highly valued.
• Demonstrable success in managing patient care for a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience in developing and leading wellness programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
