Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand students' emotional and psychological needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address mental health challenges, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school counselors, and medical professionals, to provide holistic support to students and their families.

• Educate students and their families about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources, fostering resilience and self-advocacy.

• Participate in regular training and professional development to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on providing services to students within the school environment, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will engage with students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that your approach is culturally competent and tailored to individual needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
