Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Better Life Counseling Center, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental health concerns of students and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs, utilizing best practices and solution-based interventions.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that therapy is aligned with each client's preferences and goals.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that records are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists and educational staff, to ensure holistic care and effective communication across platforms.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment quality and foster an environment of shared learning.

• Providing educational support to students and their families about mental health issues and linking them with community resources for additional assistance.

• Staying informed about current developments in clinical social work and incorporating new knowledge into your practice to improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Your work will directly impact student well-being and academic performance, as you will be a key player in facilitating mental health awareness and reducing stigma within school environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, alongside a valid license to practice as an LCSW in New York.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in a school or community setting focused on psychotherapy services.

• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, and an employee assistance program for mental health support.
