Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet the unique needs of high-risk and complex cases.
• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with colleagues, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Guide clients through decision-making processes, presenting various treatment options and helping them understand the implications of each.
• Empower clients by providing them with practical skills and resources that enhance their interactions with healthcare providers and improve their self-advocacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health counselor at High Crest Counseling Inc., you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds facing mental health challenges. Your primary focus will be to address not only immediate psychological distress but also underlying issues, fostering resilience and promoting long-term coping strategies. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience providing counseling services, particularly in a community health setting.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and utilizing crisis management techniques.
• Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a focus on quality care.

Preferred Experience

Experience with diverse populations, including those facing socioeconomic challenges, and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities are highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
