Kinetic Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, establishing a strong rapport to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions for patients, including both individual and family therapy, tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Complete essential documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory and organizational guidelines.
• Develop crisis management strategies—including crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans—to provide patients with the tools they need to maintain stability.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that support the ongoing wellness and community integration of your patients.
• Stay up-to-date with and strictly adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, as well as NEHS policies and procedures.
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to discuss treatment approaches and share best practices.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through training, seminars, and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and aspirations. You will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your empathy, cultural competency, and clinical expertise will be crucial in helping patients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve meaningful, transformative outcomes.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that meets licensing requirements.
• Active licensure as a mental health therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of California.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience working in community health settings, crisis intervention, or with diverse populations are highly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems will be considered an asset.
