Key Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status, including an analysis of their history and current concerns. Create tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, providing guidance, strategies, and resources to support their mental health journey. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when medication or additional support is needed. Document each session in a timely manner using our EHR system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for client care within a multidisciplinary team framework. Patient Population / Client Focus You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders. Our clients come from distinct cultural backgrounds, and addressing their needs through tailored, culturally competent strategies is vital to our practice. You will help clients foster resilience, manage stressors, and develop healthy coping mechanisms within a supportive therapeutic relationship. Qualifications A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California. A minimum of four years of experience in counseling, including direct client interaction and clinical practice. A profound understanding of mental health disorders, diagnostic criteria, and culturally responsive therapeutic approaches. Preferred Experience Experience implementing both individual and group therapy sessions, with a strong focus on inclusive practices. Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor when addressing high-stress situations. Proficiency with EHR systems and a solid grasp of general computer applications related to clinical practice. Ability to maintain strict professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and protect client confidentiality. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
