Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver therapy services. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to create an effective therapeutic alliance.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients, focusing on evaluating their progress, discussing goals, and planning for appropriate discharge as needed.
• Develop, implement, and diligently monitor person-centered treatment plans, tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to establish a baseline for client care and treatment direction.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including progress notes, case files, and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance professional growth and clinical skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver multi-disciplinary care that addresses the comprehensive needs of clients.
• Commit to a mindset of continuous growth, actively seeking out feedback and staying current with developments in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The New Life Solutions Clinic serves a diverse outpatient population, encompassing adults, children, and families. Our clients often come to us facing challenges that range from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral health issues. As an LPC, you will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals towards healing and empowerment, ensuring that each person feels validated and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted, independent LPC credential in California.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting post-graduation is required.
• Proficient in using digital tools, including electronic health record systems, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and telehealth platforms.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Capable of conducting comprehensive intake assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with diverse populations, tailoring therapy approaches to suit various cultural and individual needs.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and willingness to engage in ongoing learning.
• Prior telehealth experience is advantageous, especially in managing virtual client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 – $90,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model ensures that payments are made in advance of collections, allowing for financial stability for our clinicians. Additional benefits include:
