Work Environment

This role will primarily involve delivering physical therapy services in a home care setting, where you'll interact closely with patients in their familiar environments. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable routine that can enhance work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of each patient's current condition, incorporating medical history, functional limitations, and personal goals.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring a clear path towards recovery.
• Facilitate a thorough understanding of the patient's journey through education and by clearly communicating the treatment plan, thus enhancing patient compliance and engagement.
• Administer treatments using diverse techniques, including manual therapy and progressive exercise prescriptions, while continually monitoring patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous records of all services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in regular case reviews with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve are primarily those undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-surgical recovery to patients with chronic pain issues. Your compassionate approach will not only address their physical ailments but also empower them psychologically, enabling them to participate fully in their treatment process and eventually return to their desired activities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• A minimum of three years of experience specializing in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
