Key Responsibilities

• Direct the physical therapy treatment process to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function, while remaining aligned with the individualized plan of care.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants during therapy sessions, ensuring the appropriate delivery of treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic assessments of muscles, nerves, joints, and mobility.
• Assess the environment to tailor rehabilitative strategies that foster independence in clients, and suggest modifications when necessary.
• Provide in-home physical therapy services as instructed by medical professionals, guaranteeing continuity of care.
• Implement manual therapeutic routines and instruct clients in their customized exercise plans, encouraging active participation in their therapy.
• Administer treatments that involve physical agents, such as traction and massage therapies.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, coordinating recommendations with physicians.
• Maintain precise clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions, providing insights to enhance overall patient care.
• Engage with clients and their families, educating them on therapy equipment usage and best practices for recovery.
• Complete documentation and therapy orders promptly, ensuring compliance with clinic policies.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000.
