Work Environment

This full-time position is housed within our onsite rehabilitation facility in Fresno, California. You will be part of a close-knit team comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, allowing for an integrated approach to patient care. Our regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work schedule that supports both professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

As our Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and quality care delivery.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise interventions, to enhance patients' mobility and motion.
• Counsel patients and their families on lifestyle changes, exercises, and pain management strategies to promote better health outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive and coordinated patient care.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, modifying care plans as necessary to align with patient goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will primarily consist of individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, with a focus on improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. Your expertise in providing treatment options that minimize reliance on medication or surgical interventions will be crucial to our mission.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with no disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing tailored exercise regimens for diverse patients.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered a significant advantage:

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment, demonstrating expertise in orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR software systems, specifically WebPT.
• Exposure to rehabilitation techniques that emphasize holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
