Capital Life Orthopedics is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team within our orthopedic outpatient practice located in Fresno, California. We pride ourselves on our evidence-based approach to therapy and our ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible and tailored to their needs.

Work Environment

This position operates within a full-time, onsite setting in our Fresno rehabilitation facility, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while dedicating your expertise to patient care. The practice environment is dynamic and fast-paced, responsive to the high demand for orthopedic rehabilitation services, which is fueling our current hiring initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and recognize the individual goals and needs of each patient, creating personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused care that addresses specific rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments that aim to restore movement and mobility while minimizing the reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Develop and implement diverse care plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques, with an emphasis on patient education and engagement.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements, promoting overall health and wellness.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Document all services provided accurately for patient care, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the integrity of patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and specialists, to create cohesive treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, which may include athletes seeking rehabilitation post-injury, seniors recovering from joint replacements, and individuals managing chronic pain or mobility issues. Your role is crucial in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates who have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures recorded.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise program design.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient care settings is highly desirable, as it allows for a deeper understanding of the unique rehabilitation needs of our patient population.
• Experience in implementing therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation practices customized to the orthopedic field.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
