Work Environment

This role is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fresno, California. Our environment features advanced equipment and therapy modalities that facilitate effective rehabilitation outcomes. You will engage in a Monday-to-Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive atmosphere. The patient volume is manageable, with 1-2 patients seen each hour, allowing for focused, quality interaction and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing their unique orthopedic needs.
• Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to effectively reduce pain and restore function.
• Guide patients through post-surgical rehabilitation protocols and provide detailed education on injury prevention and home exercise strategies.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment plans and optimized patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices and integrate new methods to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients that experience a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, athletic injuries, and those recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Your focus on patient education and rehabilitation fosters improved outcomes, encouraging independence and return to daily activities while minimizing the chances of future injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of California.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Proven track record in implementing personalized treatment plans and utilizing a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience in educating patients on self-management practices and injury prevention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
