Assert Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Fresno, California. This full-time role is ideal for a compassionate and knowledgeable professional looking to make a significant difference in the lives of our patients. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed for sports medicine. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all working collaboratively to provide outstanding care.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our rehabilitation facility located in Fresno, a vibrant city known for its rich agricultural history and easy access to beautiful national parks. You will engage directly with patients in a modern facility designed to foster recovery and rehabilitation, creating an ideal environment for both staff and clients to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' mobility and functionality.
• Manage a caseload that involves working one-on-one with patients, typically seeing one patient per hour.
• Employ a variety of hands-on treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to achieve clinical goals.
• Monitor and document progress meticulously while adapting treatment plans as necessary based on patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by implementing personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Facilitate educational sessions to empower patients regarding their conditions and promote self-management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, offering a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. Patients often seek our expertise for post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Assert Motion, you will have the opportunity to work closely with active individuals looking to return to their pre-injury levels of activity, as well as clients who are experiencing significant functional limitations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Cleans professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in achieving patient goals through innovative treatment strategies.
• Knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
