We primarily work with private medical insurance carriers to facilitate quality care for our patients.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite, where you will work closely with a diverse team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our collaborative environment fosters a culture of support, learning, and development, ensuring each team member contributes to our mission of delivering exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, using findings to develop tailored treatment plans that address specific movement dysfunctions.
• Deliver patient care in a variety of settings, seeing an average of 2-3 patients per hour and employing effective time management strategies to maximize treatment benefits.
• Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Education patients on the importance of exercise, lifestyle adjustments, and the significance of alternative treatment approaches to reduce reliance on medications and avoid surgical interventions.
• Facilitate goal-oriented therapeutic programs that promote physical wellness, including tailored fitness regimens that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, progress, and treatment outcomes using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for each patient.
• Provide encouragement and motivation throughout the rehabilitation process to foster patient engagement and improve treatment adherence.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patients' progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions. Your patients may include individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic pain, and athletes returning to competitive form. Each patient will benefit from your customized approach to treatment, ensuring that their specific needs and rehabilitation goals are met with kindness and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid California Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the implementation of therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A strong background in working with diverse patient demographics and varied physical rehabilitation needs.
• Ability to develop and facilitate engaging wellness programs that inspire lifestyle changes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
