Work Environment

The successful candidate will thrive in an onsite rehabilitation environment, collaborating closely with a small but dynamic team comprising two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facilities are designed to foster patient engagement and recovery, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and resources to facilitate effective treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient objectives and requirements related to their rehabilitation process.
• Manage an efficient patient workload, typically scheduling one patient per hour while ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate a diverse range of treatment techniques aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that enhance movement, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Actively motivate and support patients throughout their therapy journey to maximize functional recovery and independence.
• Monitor treatment effects, document progress accurately, and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care and treatment coordination.
• Focus on promoting lifestyle improvements through strength training, flexibility exercises, and balance enhancement programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficiency in evidence-based manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing comprehensive exercise regimens for various patient profiles.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A strong background in treating diverse patient populations and conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with patients compassionately and effectively motivate them throughout their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

The recommended salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
