Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Fresno, where you will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to encourage rehabilitation and healing, offering patient-centered spaces and the latest therapeutic equipment. You'll work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balance of professional commitment and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition, utilizing both subjective and objective assessment tools to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound in rehabilitation sessions.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering an adaptive and responsive treatment environment.
• Educate patients about their conditions, and provide them with home exercise programs to encourage independent management of their recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient treatment sessions, documenting progress notes and treatment adjustments in alignment with clinic standards.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, fostering a comprehensive recovery experience.
• Build rapport with patients by providing emotional support and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey, celebrating milestones and progress together.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients who may be recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation following sports-related injuries. Our patient population is primarily orthopedic, with a focus on ensuring effective recovery and quality of life improvements through personalized treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist must be obtained prior to beginning the role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy practices is essential.
• Effective communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and their families, enhancing therapeutic relationships.
• The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, including treatment of post-surgical care and chronic pain management, is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sports rehabilitation is a plus, allowing for targeted treatment approaches regarding athletic injuries.
• Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or multidisciplinary healthcare setting is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
