Our advanced 5000 square-foot sports medicine facility is designed to cater to the diverse needs of our patients and is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment modalities. Our dedicated team consists of two skilled Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite and involves direct patient interaction in a warm and supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. We operate primarily within the realm of private medical insurance, ensuring our services remain accessible to a wide range of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to accurately diagnose patients' conditions and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing for one-on-one patient interactions, aimed at providing individualized care.
• Implement treatment regimes that effectively target pain relief, improved mobility, and enhanced overall physical function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective treatment options, focusing on minimizing the need for medication and exploring non-surgical interventions.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education to motivate and empower clients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Keep open lines of communication with patients and families to ensure comfort and facilitate a collaborative treatment approach.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately and comprehensively, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in regular progress evaluations and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients suffering from orthopedic concerns. This includes individuals recovering from surgery, athletes managing injuries, and clients seeking preventive care. You will be instrumental in developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs of each patient, working closely with them to enhance their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• The candidate must hold an active Physical Therapist license in California without any disciplinary actions.
• Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient care is essential, demonstrating the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in designing and implementing therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred to streamline patient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation enhances your capacity to connect with an active clientele.
• Skills in utilizing specific therapeutic modalities or technology tailored for orthopedic recovery are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
