Work Environment

This position primarily operates within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility, equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote patient comfort and recovery. You will collaborate closely with two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a team-oriented approach to patient care. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans designed to enhance mobility and functional abilities.
• Provide direct patient care, managing a caseload effectively at a ratio of one patient per hour.
• Utilize a variety of intervention techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, best practices, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and agency policies.
• Engage in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, to optimize care delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, many of whom come to us with musculoskeletal disorders requiring rehabilitation. Our clientele primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, emphasizing our commitment to navigating their unique healthcare systems and needs. You will gain valuable experience treating a wide array of conditions, from post-surgical recovery to sports injuries, each patient presenting an opportunity for positive change and impact.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California is necessary; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, particularly with diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to facilitate accurate documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
