Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will engage in a variety of duties aimed at enhancing patient rehabilitation processes:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical abilities and limitations, establishing baseline functional status for treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on individual goals and patient engagement.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, and other modalities tailored to patient requirements.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices, promoting active participation in the recovery journey.
• Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing patient care activities effectively and ensuring a seamless transition between different phases of rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress comprehensively, adhering to legal, ethical, and institutional guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients, encompassing a range of musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical recovery, and sports related injuries. Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
