Work Environment

The work environment at Foxtail Palm Motion Physical Therapy is collaborative, focusing on patient-centered care. As part of a small, closely-knit team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, you will work onsite in an outpatient office, providing hands-on therapy and support to our patients. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the specific objectives and needs of each patient to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with a patient load of 1 individual per hour, ensuring focused, quality care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to administer cost-effective treatments that enhance mobility and promote healing.
• Educate patients on exercise and activity regimens designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall functional independence.
• Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in their own care, leading to better outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Document all treatment plans and patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Continuously monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their progress and feedback.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• No history of disciplinary actions on the professional license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience with orthopedic therapy.
• Ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally with a strong focus on rehabilitation.
• A proven track record of successful patient outcomes in physical therapy.
• Experience working collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
