Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, allowing ample opportunity for hands-on patient interaction, collaboration, and immediate feedback. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition to identify specific needs and develop targeted, individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically one patient per hour, ensuring focused attention to each individual's therapeutic needs.
• Utilize a range of modalities and techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to optimize patients' movement and strength.
• Work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to integrate interdisciplinary approaches for maximum patient benefit.
• Document patient progress rigorously in our EMR system (WebPT), maintaining accurate records to track outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on wellness strategies and preventive measures to sustain their recovery and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor treatment effects continually and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal results and adherence to therapy.
• Promote independence by minimizing reliance on medications and exploring viable non-surgical treatment options.
• Encourage and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their functional goals and lead healthier lives.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Grandcare Physical Therapy Services, you will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our clientele is diverse, ranging from active individuals seeking to return to their sports to older adults aiming to regain mobility after injuries. This supportive atmosphere allows therapists to build strong, trusting relationships with patients, which is essential in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with proficiency in creating effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care are preferred, as familiarity with this setting will enhance your ability to address patient needs efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will also bring creativity in developing tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
